History of the Band:
LFS began at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where drummer Connor LeFevre and guitarist Jefferson Hirshman first connected through a virtual music theory class. An Instagram DM led to their first jam session with bassist Danny Stuckenschneider, resulting in the beginnings of their track “Spaceship Landing.” Love For Strangers debuted live in summer 2021, beginning to consistently play shows until about July 2023. Soon after Danny left the band, and it was time to commit to finding a singer which they had wanted to do all along. Over the next about 7 months, Connor and Jefferson would find vocalist Rachel Byer, guitarist Nik Redcay and bassist Zach Miskimon, completing the lineup in February 2024. They would announce their first tour for April 2024 and begin consistent performances and rehearsals again. Connor left around July 2024, and performances featured fill-in drummer Brett Schatz until Jack Naden joined the band officially in December of 2024.
